The different order statuses are, Submitted, Approved, Processing, Shipped, Received, Pending, and Canceled.
Orders can be manually marked as Approved, Received, Pending, and Canceled. An order cannot manually be marked as Processing or Shipped. The Processing and Shipped statuses will be displayed if they have been selected in the Order Flow and if an order has a manifest in Trace. The Processing and Shipped statuses will not be displayed if they have not been selected in the Order Flow or if an order does not have a manifest in Trace.
Manage an order status
- Go to the Orders menu in the Sales sidebar and click Orders.
- Click the search icon and type the name of the client that placed the order.
You can also click the Filters icon and select filters to apply to find the order.
- Click the order's Bamboo ID in the Bamboo ID column.
- To approve the order, click the order's Status drop-down and select Approve, then click Confirm to confirm marking the order as Approved.
Approving an order means that you are approving the order details as well as all of the products and quantities in the order, the order cannot be edited once it has been marked as approved. If the order needs to be edited, the status must first be changed to Pending. Approved orders can be changed to Pending, Canceled, or, Received.
- After an order is approved, it is ready to be processed, a Processing status means the order has been allocated, packed, and labeled. An order cannot manually be marked as Processing, but if an order has a manifest in Trace and the Processing status has been added to the Order Flow, the order will display a Processing status after it has been allocated.
An order in processing can be changed to Pending (if at least one of its manifests is open), Canceled, or Received.
- After an order has been processed, it is ready to be shipped. An order cannot manually be marked Shipped, but if an order has a manifest in Trace and the Shipped status has been added to the Order Flow, the order will display a Shipped status after its manifest(s) has been published in Trace.
A shipped order can be changed to Canceled or Received.
- After an order has been shipped, it is ready to be received. An order can be marked as received when its manifest(s) has been published in Trace. Marking an order as Received means all ordered products have been received by the client.
An order with a Received status cannot be changed back to any other status as the order's manifest has already been published and declared to the relevant state system. A received order cannot be edited.
When an order has been marked as Received, the order's product quantities will be deducted from the allocated inventory quantities.
- To mark an order as received, click the order's Status drop-down and select Receive, then click Confirm to confirm marking the order as Received.
