A product attribute is a collection of the the terms that describe the products within a category or sub-category.
There are three types of attributes available when creating a new attribute:
- Strain: A strain attribute will allow you to add the strains that apply to the products within the category. For example, a flower product might have the strain terms OG Chem, Pineapple Express, and Purple Kush. Strains must be first added in Trace in order to be available to add to an attribute.
- Weight: Using a weight attribute, you can add the different weights for products within the category. For example, a flower product might have the weight terms 1g, 3.5g, and 7g.
- General: General type attributes are used to support product characteristics that don't fall under strain or weight, like color or size. You might also choose to use this to support non-cannabis items, like shirts.
