Create a Harvest

You can create a harvest from Grow Cycles, Rooms, or Plants.

When creating a harvest from a grow cycle, the harvest will consist of all vegetative or flowering plants in the grow cycle.  Any plants in a grow cycle that is in a harvest or already harvested will not be included. 

When creating a harvest from a room, the harvest will include all plants within the selected room. 

When creating a harvest from plants, the harvest will include all selected plants.

 

Harvest a grow cycle

  1. Click Grow Cycles in the Trace sidebar.   
  2. To quickly find the grow cycle, click the search icon and type the grow cycle strain name.            
  3. Select the grow cycle to harvest in the Bamboo ID column.                                                               
  4. Click Actions.                                                                                                                                    
  5. Click Create Harvest.     
    • The Create Harvest pop-up window will open.                                                                            
  6. To change the default harvest name, type the preferred name in the Harvest Name field.

    This field will auto-populate as <STRAIN> - <SOURCE_ROOM> - <DATE> - <TIME>  by default and can be changed by typing the preferred harvest name.

  7. Click the Type drop-down and select Dry Flower or Extraction.                                        harvest
  8. If Then
    Creating a dry flower harvest

    Click the Drying Room drop-down and select the room where the harvested material will dry. 

    Creating an extraction harvest Click the Freezing Room drop-down and select the room where the harvested material will be frozen.                               
  9. Click the calendar icon in the Start Date field and select the harvest's start date.     
    •  This field will auto-populate with the current date by default.            harvest                                           
  10. Click the calendar icon in the End Date field and select the harvest's estimated end date.            est
  11. Click Create to create the harvest.
    • The harvest will appear on the Harvest page with an open status and the next step is to confirm the harvest wet weights.  When the harvest wet weights have been confirmed, the harvest status will change to Wet Confirmed.  When the harvest dry weights have been confirmed, the harvest status will change to Closed.  After a harvest is closed, it moves to the Unlotted Inventory page.

Harvest a room

  1. Click Rooms in the Trace sidebar.   
  2. To quickly find the room, click the Search icon and type the name of the room.                             
  3. Click the room's 3 dot menu and select Create Harvest.                                                                 
    • The Create Harvest pop-up window will open.                                                                              room
  4. Type a name for the harvest in the Harvest Name field.

    This field will auto-populate as <STRAIN> - <SOURCE_ROOM> - <DATE> - <TIME>  by default and can be changed by typing the preferred harvest name.

  5. Click the Type drop-down and select the type of Dry Flower or Extraction.                                  harvest   
  6. If Then

  1. Click Plants in the Trace sidebar.
  2. To quickly find the plant(s), click the search icon and type the name of the plant strain.            
  3. Select the plants to harvest in the Bamboo ID column.
  4. Click Actions and click Create Harvest.                                                          
    • The Create Harvest pop-up window will open.                                                                            
  5. To change the default harvest name, type a name for the harvest in the Harvest Name field.

    This field will auto-populate as <STRAIN> - <SOURCE_ROOM> - <DATE> - <TIME>  by default and can be changed by typing the preferred harvest name in this field.
