Add QA Sample Results

Quality Assurance (QA) results must be added for the products to be eligible for sale and for accurate order manifests. Once QA results have been received, they can be added manually or imported from a file or link for QA Samples with Open or Awaiting Results status.

 

Manually add QA results

  1. Click QA Samples in the Trace sidebar.
  2. To quickly find the QA sample, click the search icon and type the name of the QA sample strain.
  3. Click the QA sample's Bamboo ID in the Bamboo ID column.
    • The QA Results pop-up window will open.                                                                                     qa_bamboo_id.png
  4. Click the calendar icon in the Tested field and select the sample's tested date.                             tested_date.png
  5. Type the lab result id in the Lab Result ID field.                                                                                  lab_result_id.png
  6. Type the QA samples testing results in the Add Results section.

    The Total THC and Total CBD fields will auto-populate after entering values in the THC, THCa, CBD, and CBDa fields.  

    The Total THC and Total CBD fields can be edited as needed.

  7. Click Upload COA to add the lab's Certificate Of Analysis for the QA sample.

    Uploaded COAs can be viewed and downloaded after saving the QA results.  After the results are saved, the QA sample will display the COA icon Screenshot_2023-05-25_at_11.24.39_AM.png.  Click the COA icon to view and/or download the COA.

    The COA can also be viewed and downloaded directly from the lot that was sampled by going to the Lotted Inventory page and clicking the COA icon.

  8. Click the QA Samples Status drop-down and select Passed or Failed.              qa_results.png
  9. Click Add to save the QA results.
      • The QA sample status will change from Open to either Passed or Failed based on the selected QA Sample testing status. If a COA was uploaded the COA icon will appear and you can view and download it by clicking the COA icon.  The QA Samples associated lots will also display the Tested icon indicating the lot(s) has been QA tested and the COA icon if a COA was uploaded.  You can also view and download the COA from the Lotted inventory page.

 

Import QA results

  1. Click QA Samples in the Trace sidebar.
  2. To quickly find the QA sample, click the Search icon and type the name of the QA sample strain.
  3. Click the QA sample's Bamboo ID in the Bamboo ID column.
    • The QA Results pop-up window will open.                                                 qa_bamboo_id.png
  4. In the Add Results section, click IMPORT FROM WCIA LINK.                                                        import_results.png
  5. Select Insert WCIA Link and paste the WCIA link in the Paste WCIA Link Here field or select Upload File and drag and drop the JSON file in the Upload result file (.json) section or click Upload result file (.json).

    If the COA link is available in the JSON file, the COA file will automatically be added.

  6. Click Apply to add the testing results.

    The Tested Date, Lab Result ID, TCH, THCa, CBD, CBDa, Total TCH, and Total CBD fields will be auto-populated.

    If the COA link is available in the JSON file, the COA file will also be added.

  7. Click the QA Samples Status drop-down and select Pass or Fail.                            qa_results.png
  8. Click Add to save the QA results.
