An order can be edited if it has a status of Submitted or Pending. An order with a status of Approved must be changed to Pending before it can be edited. An order with a Received status cannot be changed to Pending and therefore cannot be edited.
An order's associated Client, 3PID (third party id), and Placed By information can be edited, as well as the order's Departure date, Client and Admin comments, and Products.
Edit an order
- Go to the Orders menu in the Sales sidebar and click Orders.
- Click the Search icon and type the name of the client that placed the order to edit.
You can also click the Filters icon and select filters to apply to find the order.
- Click the order's Bamboo ID to go to the order details page.
Edit the order's client, 3pid, and placed by information
- Click the Pencil in the order's Client Name field to change the client that submitted the order.
- The Choose Client window will open.
- The Choose Client window will open.
- Click the Choose Client drop-down and select a client, then click Confirm.
- To add or edit an order's 3pid, click the Pencil icon in the 3PID field.
- Type the 3PID, then click the Checkmark icon to save the 3PID.
- To change who placed the order, select Client or VMI Rep in the Placed By section.
- If VMI Rep is selected, click the Choose VMI Rep drop-down and select the VMI Rep that placed the order.
- If VMI Rep is selected, click the Choose VMI Rep drop-down and select the VMI Rep that placed the order.
Edit the order's departure day and comments
- Click the Pencil icon in the order's Departure Date field to edit the order's departure date, then select a departure date.
- Click the Pencil icon in the order's Client Comment field to edit client comments, type the client comments then click the Checkmark icon to save the comments.
- Click the Pencil in the order's Admin Comment field to edit admin comments, type the admin comments then click the Checkmark icon to save the comments.
Edit the order's product quantities and price
- To edit the quantity ordered, click the Pencil in a product's quantity field, type the new quantity then click the Checkmark icon.
The order quantity cannot be edited if the order's related offer is currently on hold. You will need to activate the related offer to edit any quantities.
- To edit a product's price, click the Pencil icon in that product's price field, type the new price then click the Checkmark icon.
Add products and samples to the order
- Click Add in the Ordered Products section.
- The Add Products & Samples to Order window will open.
Clicking the Filter Brand drop-down allows you to filter your selection by choosing the specific brands for the products. If you do not filter your selection by choosing specific brands, all brands from the categories selected will be displayed.
- The Add Products & Samples to Order window will open.
- Click the Choose Categories drop-down to select the categories to add, then click Next.
Quickly find a category by typing the category's name. The products and samples available for selection will depend on the selected category (or categories).
- Click the Choose Products drop-down and select the product(s) to add.
- Click the Choose Samples drop-down and select the sample(s) to add.
- Click Next.
- Click the Available Offer drop-down on the Products tab and select the offer to use to add the product(s).
- Type the Quantity to add for each product.
- If samples were added, click the Samples tab.
- Click the Available Offer drop-down on the Samples tab and select the offer to use to add the sample(s).
- Type the Quantity to add for each sample.
- Click Confirm.
Remove products and samples from the order
- Select the products and samples to remove.
- Click Actions and select Remove.
- Click Confirm.
