Add Standalone Product Samples

A Standalone product is a product that is added without the use of a template. When adding Off the Shelf products, the use of a template is optional which means all Standalone products are also, by default, Off the Shelf products.

 

Standalone product samples can be added from the Products page and the Samples page.

 

Add a sample from the products page

    1. Go to the Products menu in the Sales sidebar and click Products.
    2. Click the Search icon and type the name of the product to which you want to add the sample.
    3. Click the product's 3 dots icon and select Add Sample. 
      • The Add Sample pop-up window will open.

        The product you click on will be the sample's Associated Product and will be auto-selected in the Associated Products field.

    4. Click Upload to add an optional sample product image, then crop the image as needed and click Save.

      Adding an image of the sample is optional but recommended as sample images are visible on the Offer Menu.

    5. Click the Sample Type drop-down and select the sample type.

      When a sample type is selected, the sample's net weight field will auto-populate based on the sample type selected and cannot be edited.

      The Attribute Group and Strain Attribute  fields will auto-populate with the selected associated product's attribute group and strain.

    6. Type the samples Pieces and Price.                                                                                               smple_piece_and_price.png
    7. In the Branding section, type the sample Name.                                                                     name.png
      The Brand and Category fields will auto-populate with the associated product's brand and category.                                                                                                                                 
    8. Type an optional Sample Description and Sample Disclaimer.
    9. Click Add to add the sample.

 

Add a sample from the samples page

  1. Go to the Products menu in the Sales sidebar and click Samples.
  2. Click Add.                          
    • The Add Sample pop-up window will open.
  3. Click Upload to add an optional sample image, then crop the image as needed and click Save.

  6. Type the sample's Pieces and Price.
